A very sweet if slighty unnerving scene

This afternoon, J and I gave up on trying to get B to sleep through his gas pains by himself, and J took a nap with the boy cradled next to her on the bed (it worked). So I come home from getting the jeep a new windshield, and what do I see but J and B crapped out on the bed, and Skillet nestled in with them, paws resting on the small of our baby's back.

Considering that the cat weighs about twice as much as a heft two-month-old -- and has been rather summarily displaced from what was left of our attention, I hope that's as close as he's allowed to get...
