Out of the frying pan

Tonight we went to a local restaurant for dinner; it's a place we've been taking C since he was safe for public venues, so the manage came by to chat  and remark on his loquacity. ("I would like some orange juice because this is a celebration. And to eat I would like french fries and a cheeseburger.") Her youngest, who is about his age, apparently doesn't talk much in public at all.

Then she mentioned that she and her family are thinking of moving to Arizona, somewhere around Phoenix. It's warmer there, and her husband wants to get back into selling real estate . I'm a little worried that they haven't checked the current inventory of unsold houses and foreclosure rates. Or then again, maybe they have.
